I plan on taking the 108 bus from McCarran to Fremont St. my next visit
and was wondering if anyoe knows where the bus stop at the airport is
located? I don't feel like paying a cab $30 or so for a ride and last
trip the shuttle took almost an hour to get me to the El Cortez, so I
figure if it's going to take that long I might as well save some money.
I will only be in town for 2 1/2 days so my "luggage" will be a duffle
bag plus it's an interesting sight seeing ride.

It is down on the zero level. There are signs. As you leave baggage area,
turn right (from the ones nearest the gate) and go down the stairs. The bus
stop is to your left. You should be able to fin it easly.

Its not the greatest way, but it is cheap and interesting.

BTW, you can take 108 or 109...just get on north bound!

Thanks. Like I've said I did taxi and shuttle so why not the bus.

Smee:

I knew BR was not afraid to answer that question! Another nice thing about
the 108/109 is that it is faster from the airport to downtown.

Buy the CAT day pass which allows you to travel everywhere. I found the CAT
a better way to get to CES this year and just as fast as parking at one of
the hotels and using the shuttles.

A friend who works for the RTC has informed me that the 108 line will have
the Deuce busses permanently soon.
