Calgary

I think the relatively new "cool" spot in town is the Hotel Arts or
something to that effect with its Raw Bar.

Any of the major hotels in and around downtown Calgary will get you where
you want to be for good food and entertainment....or at least within a short
cab ride away from the same.

The Marriott, Hyatt, Westin, Sheraton Suites, Delta Bow Valley to name a
few.

Steak restaurant:

The venerable Caesar's has been an instruction for steak lovers for years,
Vintage Chop House, Murietta's, the Chicago Chop House if it still exists
and many others feature Alberta beef.
