Although it is borderline "Caribbean", I'll mention here that I've
completed a trip report and fairly extensive Photo Album covering our
recent trip to Costa Rica over the Christmas holidays.
Go to www.hammocktree.us/ms/trips.html and click on the first report.

Thanks Mike, nicely done. Too bad you didn't have clearer weather,
especially at Arenal. Most rooms there are positioned as yours was, and you
can fall asleep in your bed watching the eruptions and lava flows right out
your window, instead of television.

You might consider also posting this to rec.travel.latin-america.

Enjoyed your trip report on Costa Rica. We've been there 5 times, but it
has been about 3 years since the last trip. I want to go back!

I agree it's a good trip report. We need more like this.

I'm doing my best to combat the declining "signal to noise ratio" on
