Mandalay Bay has some very good high-end restaurants. I can't think
of one you'd go wrong with, depending on what kind of food you like
(although, Trattoria del Lupo is probably overpriced). I think the
problem you may run into is that some open at 5:30 or six, which may
rush the meal. I wouldn't try getting in and out of Aureole or Fleur
de Lys in 90 minutes. Shanghai Lilly and rumjungle can be done in an
hour and a half. Not sure about RM Seafood or Stripsteak.
Red Square is a good choice because it's a little less formal and
opens at 5 p.m
If you are interested in going more casual, try the Border Grill.
It's a very good Mexican restaurant and has more flexible hours.

Aureole, if you're looking for a leisurely and very elegant meal - probably
better after the show.
Strip Steak if you just want to eat a good, well cooked/presented dinner. >> Stay informed about: Dinner in Mandalay Bay? |

If they go with the Border Grill, Restaurant.com has $25 dining
certificates for $10.
Using the promo code "SUPER" on checkout lowers the price to $4. This
promo code expires at midnight tonight (certificates themselves are
good for a year).

But, you must spend $50 not including alcohol, in order to qualify for the
$25 coupon. That seems a bit high for Mexican fare. Of course I'm not a
strip person and all those prices seem high to me!

Me neither. It definitely ain't Taco Bell. Looking at the dinner
menu, it shouldn't be hard to spend at least $50 on two people. Most
of the "Special Plates" are $20-30. A couple of those plus a dessert
and you're over $50, minus the net savings of $21 with the dining
certificate.

I'd certainly think Fleur de Lys is the most exciting of the bunch.
But of course this ain't a 90 minute restaurant, as Matt pointed out.
RM Seafood would be my Number 1 choice for your timetable.

If you weren't time pressed, Aureole would definitely be the place to
go. But it's not worth it to hurry a meal there.
