I think their coffee is god awful. Stick with their donuts. We sampled it
at the Western Food Expo last July and almost barfed.
By the way, Newhall Coffee of Santa Clarita is far better and the company is
trying to get all Subways across America to serve it. It has been sold at
Costco for years.
For years my family always served Farmer Brothers which is used in many
establishments but personally, I think the coffee at McDonalds, Vons and at
7/11 is just fine.

I've had the coffee at Dunkie, and it's a lot better than Starbucks (not
burnt). Caribou Coffee (if it's franchised its way out West) is better
than Dunkie. >> Stay informed about: Here comes Dunkin Donuts |

IMHO the coffee at Jack in the Box is recycled dishwater. >> Stay informed about: Here comes Dunkin Donuts |

I was looking for "Game Crazy" yesterday to get my wife part of her
Valentine's gift (pink Nintendo DS Lite... and picked up a Wii for resale
[another thread]) and seen that there will also be one opening on Windmill
near my son's school. I can't wait.
I like the classic taste of Winchell's, but put Dunkin' Donuts far ahead of
the dough dipped in sugar taste of Krispy Kreme's.

The best way to stiff a bartender is simply say "thanks." >> Stay informed about: Here comes Dunkin Donuts |

From their news paper ad, now open:
Silverado & Bermuda
American Pacific & Gibson
Las Vegas Outlet Mall South
Ann & Simmons
Craig & Jones
When they opened up their first store recently,
I remember hearing a blurp on the radio that
they set a first day opening record in Vegas
of more than 55,000 donuts, if my memory
is correct.

The Donut Hole has good coffee & it's at the perfect drinking temp.,
not like the molten steel that McDonald's serves. Seriously, I have
to let McD's coffee cool for at least 20-30 minutes before I can drink
it. That's insane.

That's such a great idea. As for Starbucks, it is what it is - decent
coffee anywhere you can find one. There's a couple of hidden gems
here in Burque, one of which is closed (Blue Dragon) and the other is
Napoli Coffee. But neither come close to the quality of Peet's.

Caribou Coffee is excellent. Drink it in Columbus when I am there.
I wish they would make it to Dallas/Plano area (where there are far to
many Starbucks). >> Stay informed about: Here comes Dunkin Donuts |

that can be said of any location in the country <grin>
I -luv- DD coffee, as long as they use fresh grounds on the pot. I've
had cups there, everywhere, where it tastes like they use the same
grounds for two pots of water. Yuk.

I always use fresh grounds (I grind it myself) whenever I brew Dunkin Donuts
coffee. A DD aficionado recently told me it was good. I have yet to visit
one of their stores, but I'm sure enjoying the DD beans I was recently
gifted.
If you ever feel like trolling, pop over to alt.coffee and post that Dunkin
Donuts has the best coffee ever. Those folks sure take coffee seriously!
Most roast the beans and claim that coffee should be used within 7 days of
roasting.

Java Detour ranks pretty high since they give my dogs the royal treatment
at the drive-up window. Starbucks does ok. JD goes with the dog biscuits,
SB goes with the Puppaccino (a small cup of frothed milk). >> Stay informed about: Here comes Dunkin Donuts |

As East Coasters we've always loved their coffee much better than
Starbucks. Very consistent in it's flavor and smoothness. Not very strong or
burnt bitter like SB's.
