Hi there Jan,
Last summer we visited Crete foor 1 month.
We started in Kritsa and travelled all the way to Paleochora and
the North West coast.
Kritsa is a very nice mountain village.
One some tourists in day time and very quiet in the evenings.
This adress
http://www.olijfpers.centerall.com/
is opposite of the main church with all the traditional stuff.
If you walk to the square of the church you'll meet the
woman that opens the church for visitors and services.
The woman that owns the Olive Press in from Belgium and
speeks Greec fluently.
Very nice!
If you need more information, you know where to find me!
Ger.
