Archived from groups: rec>travel>africa (more info?)

I am planning a trip to Egypt and have had a number of replies from
local tour operators.

I have listed the operator's name or web site below. Has anyone used
any of the operators listed or know of them? I am concerned that some
may take my money and never be heard of again.

Also I am planning an itinerary as follows:
4 nights Cairo
1st class sleeper train to Luxor
2 nights Luxor
3-4 night cruise to Aswan
2 nights Aswan with tour to Abu Simbel
1st class sleeper train to Cairo
1 night Cairo

Do you have suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

Yes, i heard of Professor travel. DONT GIVE THAT M*********R ANY
MONEY!!!!We did and he ruined our honeymoon. He changed the program,
sent us by bus instead of sleeping train, and disappeared. If you
haven't decided yet, choose some well known travel agent. It's better
to spend a little more money. If you need help with your travel, we
just came from Egypt and can help you.
