Well lets start off Sundays story that includes
The ElCo's Chinese Kitchen Buffet, which should
be a top of the line restaurant at The Gold Spike.

Well woke up Sunday deciding which Casinos
will be our next victims. Sweetheart and myself
first started the afternoon at the Sahara with a
couple matchplays, quickly won $25 and headed over
to the Hilton and won $20 starting with matchplays.

Next it was a little relaxation over at The Western,
we were surprised to see Lee dealing at the tables.
She is the smartly dressed Chinese lady with
class and you could see it in her body english
that she wasn't overjoyed. After she pulled a blackjack
and drew two 21's hitting stiffs it was time to go
to the $5 table. I don't play against hot dealers. Judy
was at the $5 and as hot as Lee was, Judy was
cold & breaking, we regained our losses and won $25
after a $5 toke.

Besides installing flat screen tv's (2) at the pit, I
also notice a bill breaker & TiTo machine waiting
to be installed. Kiss the change people bye bye.

It was now 4 pm and off to The ElCo's Chinese
Kitchen Buffet. Last year I had almost an unlimited
supply of ElCo fun books so used 95% of the $5
coupons at Careful Kitty's and a few times at the
Chinese Buffet. Well my fun books are a thing
of the past, but I will not pay full price for a meal.
Thursday & Fridays papers had 2/1 coupons for the
Chineese Buffet. Using my comp buck points of $1.02,
gathered over two years of free slot play our bill for
2 came to $8.51.

At 4:10 pm the placed was filled up with 2/1 patriots.
Enough bad things cannot be written about the buffet.
The things that are are good: service, lemonade & rootbeer,
carrot cake & soft serve.

To be fair and balanced, the shrimp items were loaded
with shrimp and were cooked right, many times the
shrimp are cooked to mush.

After we eat at the ElCo we take a walk downtown, usually
by the time we get to the Fitz I have a funny feeling and
I don't know if it is gas or something else and I don't
want to be wrong by giving a little squeeze with bad
results. At least it is better than duck walking to your
car if your wrong, so a quick stop at The Fitz.

Also Metro has cleared out downtown, no beggers ect, ect.
Decided to play a little bit of blackjack switch at 4 Queens
and got beat up and lost $60. I made the right plays but luck
wasn't with me, for example switched a blackjack into
a 20 and a soft 17 and doubled down the 17, lost
both hands.

Went over to the Golden Nugget to my secret fun 21
table that I never lose at and lost a $100.

I always have a policy that we never pay full price for a
meal or show and never gamble without an advantage.
I just should have followed my own beliefs.

I ate at the El Cortez Chinese Buffet on Sat. I was going to go to
Careful Kitty's to get some chicken wings & pie, but there was a line of
people waiting to be seated. Not a whole lot, about 6 or so. Then I
saw that the buffet was still open. There were only 2 tables occupied,
so I was seated immediately. Since all I really wanted was wings & pie,
it was perfect, plus it was free with my comp dollars. The wings were
good & I had a slice of apple pie & some chocolate cake w/soft serve ice
cream.

Yeah, there are better buffets with more variety, but if all you want
are chicken wings & some desert, this buffet is fits the bill just fine.

O.K., I know that pointing out spelling errors is considered bad
usenet form, but I simply can't stop my self...
I don't believe I've ever seen etc. misspelled before. Once is a typo,
twice is...pretty funny...

Sorry, resume posting...

dr. Baf,

I know you better than you think. You slipped this little ditty in here just
to see if somebody's paying attention, right?
