I'm sorry that your parents did not enjoy their river cruise...I wonder if
it is the ship we are considering?
There are a several Amadeus ships...the one we are looking at is the Amadeus
Royal

Since she is fairly new and first cruised in 2005, her description sounds
very nice both here and on other sites that I have found about her, she
seems as if there is not much not to like! The itinerary is the one that
best fits the route that we want. The idea of having a week's land tour
followed by a week's river cruise is what is really appealing to us.
I guess hoping to hear from someone who actually sailed on her was too much
to expect as we don't hear too much about European river cruises here...
