Muslim?

They are Albanians, which for some reason aren't part of Albania. As
such, crime is probably the best earner for them, sadly.

Sometimes unification is a good thing. The USA wouldn't be what it is

With a population of 2.2 million, Kosovo is larger than Slovenia, Luxembourg
and Andorra. And all of those countries have demonstrated that they're
perfectly able to survive.

People in this thread are getting all worked up over a really interesting
historical phenomenon, The Balkanization of the Balkans!

They were Turks, actually, not Arabs. But it is difficult to understand a
culture whose most sacred memory is a battle they lost.

The something "odd" is that a far larger percentage of the people working
there, don't live there.

So you have the wealth generation of 110 workers, divided by 100 residents.

Other countries have a small number of 'extra' workers, but none to the same
extent as Luxembourg.

To change the subject slightly.

Apparently, there are 5 EU countries who do not want to recognise Kosovo,
because they have their own problem regions that will be encouraged to seek
independence.

I'm strugglinge to get beyond guessing one (Spain).

Any ideas anyone? I know that GB, has NI (and Scotland) and France has a
few problems, but I don't think that these have reached the point of voting
themselve independence. And I'm sure that if the Walloons wanted
independence, they wouldn't need any encouragement.
