Basically, there's no hope for them in the immediate future (read: 100

Lovely piece of land they inhabit though.

The real next question is when will Kosovo decide they want to unite
with Albania and will they expect a connecting corridor.

I know - what I mean is that these products are not that much chepaer in
Luxemburg as they used to be, so it's not much of a point anymore to go
there for cheap shopping.

They don't need one, they share a common border.
Besides, in the next decade or so they'll both be in the EC so any trade
barriers will come down.
The EC seems to encourage Balkanisation even within itself.
Certainly the more radical Scots and Welsh nationalists have calmed down a
lot since they were given assemblies of their own, so it seems to work
within the context of a free trade area that regulates a lot of the basic
things in life such as safety standards and vehicles construction standards.

Bask, Catalonia....?
Greece & Cyprus, obviously, re Turkish Cyprus.
And non-EU Russia, not only because of its traditional support for Serbia,
but also its other rebellious regions.
The others are Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia. I'm not sure of their reasons.
