Family of five looking for a "cheap" stay in Kefalonia/Zak..

Hi

We are a family of five, oldest child is 7. We're thinking of going to
Greece for a month autumn of 2007, and we're looking for some cheap
alternatives. The charter tours and travel agencies are pretty
expensive.

We would like to rent a small apartment/bungalow or something near the
beach, not stay at a hotel.

Anyone who has any contacts, or links that can provide us some
information?
We would really appreciate it if anyone had any information.
