That's a brand name. The generic term is "trikiklo."
Back in the sixties, these were ubiquitous, even in the cities. This
was a transitional mode of transport for the poor, between the donkey
carts and the used small trucks of today.
In 1963, a trikiklo became notorious when it was used in the
assassination of the left-wing deputy Grigoris Lambrakis. This was
depicted in the movie "Z."
