Best is a relative term. Check on the various travel-related web sites
and see which airline offers a flight that's most convenient for you at
a price you can afford, then you will know. >> Stay informed about: Flight from Phoenix to LAS |

US Airways or Southwest. Both offer non-stop flights, and prices are
competitive. (Check both on the particular day you want to travel, as
either can jump in price, depending on demand.) If you need flexibility,
Southwest typically offers less restrictive ticketing. >> Stay informed about: Flight from Phoenix to LAS |

Thanks so much for your nice helpful reply. As you may have gathered, I'm
not a frequent flyer.

I would think most airlines are competitive from NYC to LAS.
Do you believe US Airways would be a better choice than CO, DL, AA, UA,
Jet Blue, which also fly from NYC airports to LAS nonstop?
If the OP is talking about NYC, WN doesn't really fly to a "NYC airport"
WN flies from Islip, which might be a problem for most NYC travelers.
For April, it looks like WN has ONE daily nonstop from Islip to LAS
Service LGA-LAS ends today (Jan 6)
Given that, I really don't think I would recommend WN, due to lack of
backup for irregular ops, and the non major airport it uses. >> Stay informed about: Flight from Phoenix to LAS |

1. Only flies from Islip
2. Only flies one nonstop to LAS >> Stay informed about: Flight from Phoenix to LAS |

I read the request as wanting to fly from Phoenix to Vegas, not from New
York. Both US and Southwest have numerous flights each day between those
two cities. You have to fly to an intermediate city on any other airline.
If the poster wants suggestions on airlines that fly to all three cities,
then he should rephrase the question. >> Stay informed about: Flight from Phoenix to LAS |

On Southwest? Not hardly, that airline is the original flying
homeless. It's considered a good SWA flight when you are not in the
proximity of someone with a body order level that causes your eyes to
water. >> Stay informed about: Flight from Phoenix to LAS |

You mean that they wouldn't let you board in your hiking boots?

PHX-LAS - either Southwest or US Airways. Both have what amounts to hourly
service.

The tip off to your level of ignorance was the casual use of "SWA" instead
of the "WN", the lines two letter code. I fly on several "legacies" upon
which the cabin's denizens resemble "Greyhound" patrons, even to carrying
their "stuff" in plastic trash bags. Down here where it started and
provides many flights, the pax remain substantially business commuters,
including the AM and PM flow of lawyers traipsing between Houston and Dallas
to clog the courts.
