I stayed at the Casci (recommended by someone else here) last year, and
liked it a lot. It's very conveniently located, moderately priced, not
deluxe but clean and comfortable, and run by very nice people. As with most
hotels, if you ask for a room in the back, it's usually considerably
quieter.

We also stayed at the Casci and also stayed in the back but we were in the
rear left corner of the hotel and the family lives above that room. AVOID
IT!! We heard the family all night - they're very vocal!! The mother raises
her voice constantly. Other than that the hotel and service were superb. The
son who runs the place is very knowledgable and helpful with getting around
the city. Also when we were there (2yrs ago) they were renovating many of
the rooms. I'm sure it's even better now. I would stay there again but I
would know to to request one of the rear right rooms!! Hope that helps.
