I getting a couple of First/Business award tickets (through Delta) to
Hawaii and was wondering which airline I should go for. I'm a Delta GM
member and regularly fly Delta but have never been on the 767-400 which
they use to Hawaii. The plane is fairly new but I haven't see any good
reviews of it's first class cabin. Even when inquiring about the
tickets the Delta reservations people didn't seem surprised that I was
asking about their partners.

I don't believe I have ever flown NWA but the World Business specs look
a lot better (60" pitch and wider seats), however the DC-10-30 seems
like a very old plane. Maybe older than me which is somewhat scary.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get Continental tickets, which would have
been my first choice.

Thanks for you comments.

Since you are using DL miles, I would suggest trying for a CO award.
They are the best in the business to Hawaii. Since it is an award,
you can use DL or NW to connect to the CO flight for no additional
miles or fees.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->
