Just got this from Flying Blue:

Air France is delighted to launch a new daily service from London Heathrow
to Los Angeles from April 2008. In addition to this, you will also be able
to fly to New York and Atlanta with Delta Airlines direct from London
Heathrow.

Air France has strengthened its partnership with Delta Airlines to offer you
more destinations than ever in the USA, with direct flights from London
Heathrow increasing your travel options. This means, more opportunities for

I believe so. A different article I read (probably Flight or Aviation
Week) suggested AF were dropping some Paris flights to free up slots for not
only their service to LAX but the DL services to NYC/ATL as well.
