The magazine Private Eye has a small ongoing section called "Dumb
Britain" which has a similar kind of thing. From the current issue-
(From BBC TV show "In It To Win It."
Question- Alderney and Sark- are they part of the Channel Islands?
Answer- Ooh! Is that the English Channel? I don't know, are there
islands in the English Channel? I've never heard of any. France- that's
near the English Channel, isn't it?

stuff like not opting out to get a diagnosis, then in to get
treatment, hence insistence (which I've not come across in real life)
for going one way or the other. Stuff like that.

you seem to be going off on a tangent, I explained how

First, there is no indication that I saw she did this and second, what
has that to do with the NHS denying her all treatment if she did?
This smacks of nothing more than some bureaucrat trying to arbitrarily
contolling people's lives. There is absolutely no other reason that I
can see. The woman was just trying to stay alive which they were
trying to deny here with an accepted treatment widely used elsewhere. >> Stay informed about: Why We Don't Want "Free" Medical Care |
