I want to know about furniture shops in Toronto area where one can find good
bargains on Home and Office furniture. If you know about them then please
let me know.

Also, is furniture cheaper in Toronto area compared to Detroit, Michigan?

Price is the price. However the Canadian dollar is quite high right
now (not a good thing unless you travel to the US) so converting your
C$ to U$ is quite favorable.
