I finally tried Rocco's NY Pizza tonight. It is not perfect, but a lot
better than anything else I have tried so far in LV.

Thats the good news.

The bad news is that it is in Summerlin and I doubt how many tourists would
really go out of their way to drive that far. Roccos is right across from
the COSTCO on Pavilion Center. The owner is originally from Da Bronx.

I also think Carmines Little Italy on Durango (my usual hangout) makes a
pretty good NY Pizza.

Someone also asked about cajun food. La Louisiane is also on Durango and
while not gourmet is pretty good.

Again, it is not near the strip, however.

I've always liked the New York style pizza at NYNY. I think it's called
Sirrico's(not sure of spelling) in the village eateries

NY Pizza near the corner of Sahara & Jones is pretty oldschool! Real
former NYers run it, and its a lot more convenient to the stip than a
jaunt to Summerlin.. Best NY style pizza in town (and Rocco's is
great too!).

By the way, where is Carmines on Durango?
