Greek vodafone a la carte - service lifetime?

Afaik these cards shouldn't stay "unused" for more than one year - 365
days - otherwise they expire.

and b) the card should still work!

You don't say where you are from but I know that european vodaphone top
up vouchers can be used to top up your account to make sure it remains
active. Every six months I just bung a fiver on my greek number from the
UK to make sure.
