We are staying at Harrahs or Flamingo during our winter trip. If I
could get some good information on these two hotels, I would be most
appreciative. You guys are going to be the deciding factor. Normally
it would be my wife, but in this situation, it's you guys. Which ever
hotel gets the best response will be where we stay. Thanks in
advance...

There is not much difference between the two, but I would choose Harrah's
for the casino. The dealers are defintely above average, and the layout is
good. The rooms are pretty much comparable, except for the newly
redecorated rooms at the Flamingo, which look like ice cream palor suites
to my wife, and thus not desireable. Flip a coin, but give Harrah's an
advantage (unless you are a pool person, inwhich case go directly to the
Flamingo).

I stayed at the Flamingo once and just now booked the Flamingo for Super
Bowl weekend. Room was nice and had been recently remodeled. Had a nice view
over looking the garden area. The Flamingo is in a great location and the
food was pretty good.

The only negative were the "time share pimps" harassing the hell out of you
everytime you tried to get on or off of the elevator.

I can't tell you which is better, but we had no complaints with the Flamingo
when we stayed there. (Seven days.)
