You might not see any problem, but others will. FAs are paid to do a job
which involves more than serving passengers with tea and coffee, they are
part of the safety procedure for the aircraft, and are required to show some
professionalism.
I'd have little confidence in following safety instructions from some-one
who was fraternising with passengers and not concentrating on the job they
were paid to do. In the event of an emergency, I'd like to have an equal
chance with Mr Fiennes of getting out of the aircraft, not being held up
whilst the FA and Mr Fiennes jump down the chute first.
