We will be in Paris from June 25 to 29. We are interested to rent a small
appartment. We are looking for something between 60 to 70 euros per night.
Any suggestions ?

Thanks.

Can one actually rent an apartment for only four days? I
should have thought a couple of weeks would be minimum, and
more likely a month. I once stayed at a hotel called the
"Home Plazza Bastille", which provided kitchenettes in the
rooms. Unfortunately, it did NOT supply much in the way of
utensils for cooking and eating from - one apparently had to
include those in one's luggage. I don't remember what it
cost me (more than it was worth, in any case - it's a pretty
crummy hotel) but it might be an alternative, if you can't
find an apartment for such a short stay.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

I doubt if you'll find many in that price range, but just google it.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Go look at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.slowtrav.com" target="_blank">www.slowtrav.com</a> for rentals. There used to be a guy who posted
here all the time and had a website that included some rentals. I can't
remember his name but I am sure there are some on the board who do. Also
look at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.provencewest.com." target="_blank">www.provencewest.com.</a> I have rented from them for Provence and they
are located on Colorado. They were good to work with.

I think you may be referring to Jack's website: <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.jack-travel.com" target="_blank">www.jack-travel.com</a> .
There are some links to apartment rentals there.
Another site you might check out is <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.an-apartment-in-paris.com/" target="_blank">http://www.an-apartment-in-paris.com/</a> .
I don't have any personal experience with this site, but there are certainly
some very attractive prices offered: Studios in the Marais for 390 and 460
euro/week.

Furnished apartments including utensils & bedding are certainly
available for a week or more. I suspect that availability for shorter
periods would depend on the chance that they would be rented for a
longer period.

There is at least one chain of apartment rentals that works on a daily
rate. I knew if I waited my memory would click in. Citadines is the
name. Not at the price mentioned though.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

The apartment we stayed in Rue Serouf was through Parissimo for five
days, 90 e per night.

I list a rental property I own in Provence on a few services that have
extensive listings in Paris and elsewhere in France. Look at
http://www.rentalsfrance.com http://www.abritel.fr/uk/index.php,
http://www.expatriates.com, http://paris.craigslist.com and
http://www.gite.com. And if you are traveling to Provence, take a look
at our website: http://www.mybeaucaire.com.
