We have been to the Big Easy twice and love it!! We are looking at
going for Holloween weekend for 3 nights. Any feedback or websights
would be great. We are in our 30's and love Bourbon St.
Thanks.......feel free to email personally...

Reserve your rooms very early.

Then do various web searches for the many, many websites with NOLA info.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

We started our Honeymoon in New Orleans on Halloween last year. It was
very fun. We are veterans of a couple of Mardi Gras's and we had just
as much fun there for Halloween (and it was alot less crowded). Many
folks in the Quarter had their houses decorated. I really expected it
to be an all day party but that was not the case. The Quarter was very
subdued during the day with NOBODY walking around in costume. As soon
as it got dark, however, all the cosumed revelers showed up and the
party really got started. We had a blast. Depending on what your plans
are you may want to stay close to the Quarter so you can change into
your costume and back. The weather was nice - no rain and very
pleasant in the 60's and 70's - not like Carnival which can be any
kind of weather and can change by the hour. November 2nd or 3rd is All
Soul's Day and a great day to take a cemetary tour.

That's all I can think of right now - hope it helps...

Thanks for the help all....
We lucked out and got a room one block from the entrance on Bourbon.
The city is pretty much a sell out! We are big Halloween people and we
were just curious if we should take the time to plan on constumes or
not. Will alot of people be dressed up or will we be only part of the
few? Thanks all!!

If it's anything like last year most everyone in the quarter will be
dressed up that night.
