Honolulu airport -- International to Interisland terminal

Hi:

We will be flying Hawaiian Air to HNL and transferring to Hawaiian Air
interisland.

Do you have to go outside of the Security area to walk or ride between
terminals?

No you do not need to walk out of the security area.
Ive done it the opposite way,
Maui to HNL Interisland, then HNL- SFO and never walked out of the
secure zone.
Just look for signs.
Its about a 10 minute walk or so,
