Jason Inn or Attalos Hotel in Athens ?

Post subject: Jason Inn or Attalos Hotel in Athens ?

Hi to all,

We'll be in Athens end of May begin of June and our Travelagent did
recommend the Jason Inn and Attalos Hotel.

Are this Hotels near the Main Attractions, and are they ok and not
located on a noisy Road.

I don't know Jason Inn, but I have stayed at Attalos a few years ago.
Attalos is only a few steps away from Plaka and the Flea market, and has a
view of Acropolis. The road is busy, but not too bad, and the windows are
isolated so I don't think there will be a problem, but if you worry, you
can always ask for a room at the back.

The rooms were clean, airconditioned and the bathroom seemed to be newly
decoraded with new fittings.

We stayed at the Hotel Byron right on the edge of the Plaka with a
great Acropolis view and it was fine and reasonably priced.
