I have been trying find climate information on Jindabyne
in winter. Anyone know a source where you can enter a
specific town and get month-by-month highs & lows?

Does Lake Jindabyne freeze in winter?

Don't know, but I do know that it can get awfully cold when you're
camping in a small tent.....

Camped in the caravan park around 1975 sometime and it got to around 6
or 7 below C.

Ok in the tent with the prot and a good sleeping bag, but it was an
awfully cold walk to the loo during the night.

It appears Jindabynye temperatures are between 20C and -10C.
In the US, -10C is called a mild winter.

Now that would'nt apply to the whole of the US of A would it.

I find it hard to imagine, say Florida or similar places down that way
being around that temp...

Sorry, I was referring to the cold side of the frost line where
insects die and houses have basements because the ground freezes
6 ft deep. Here we call those places "the land of the damnyankee
snow."
