Living on eastern seaboard of Africa

Eatern Coast of Africa has many countries, any one in particular? Each
country has different foods, cultures etc.. The climate also varies
depending on what country your in anywhere from desert to rain forest. By
blending in, what do you mean? can you mix with the people and not be
noticed? If your white you will be noticed, same if your american. What
kind of work your looking for? I have noticed some "whites" living in the
suburbs of Mombasa, Kenya but these were generally people who committed a
crime in their country and are "hiding" out in Mombasa. You also should
decide whether or not you want to live in a Muslim country or not, the
majority of the countries (except ethiopia) are muslim. I think you should
learn more about the cultures etc.. to narrow down your choices.

I doubt the fairly large European population in Mombasa, Malindi,
Kilifi and environs would take kindly to the statement "some whites
living in the suburbs of Mombasa were generally hiding out having
committed a crime in their own country!"

it's a general statement Pat...no harm intended..
the one German guy I met in Migadini, Mombasa was living with a Kenyan
woman. When I inquired as to why he was living in the "suburbs" of
Mombasa... the general reply from other Kenyans was that he did something
back in his country and is keeping low by living there...away from the
tourist spots where he might be noticed.... other Euro's whom I've met
(women)have kids with some Kenyans and choose to stay for a bit... In
Malindi I met several Euro's (mostly Italians) who admitted to having 2
families 1in Malindi, 1 in Italy...
