Archived from groups: rec>travel>cruises (more info?)

Hello, All,

I've lurked in this group for several years and feel that I know some of you. Anyhow, I wanted to share
my review and photos of the Carnival Miracle. My wife and I took the cruise out of Baltimore in
September, but I've only now found time to put up the review and photos. Since the bulk of the review is
of the ship, I believe that it will remain "timely."

The review was written with my grandchildren in mind, which is why the text may sound simplistic in
places. Please bear with it; I like to think I really am capable of writing on an adult level <grin>.

Thanks for the review. Next time you might consider posting it here at
r.t.c. in plain text. It's easier for some of us (if you've followed the
thread you've seen that some people had trouble accessing the url). Plus if
it's posted her, we can often get discussions going about various aspects by
copying/replying... which frequently generates a lot fun back and forth.

You are welcome. Of course, the reason I didn't post it in text only here is because most of it would
make little sense without the photos. In addition, it will be at the site for a much longer time than it
would be in the group.

It seems some folks may have copied and pasted the period at the end of the URL, which gave the
error. Also, there could have been a temporary glitch in the server. As for the period at the end: Bad
habit. I'm a linguist and always try to end my sentences with some sort of punctuation.

Actually... the reverse might actually be more true.

Once the website goes down... there goes the review. But if you post it
here, it can probably be archived for years, maybe decades, using things
like Google.
