I just visited Las Vegas and was looking for the Magic museum that is
mentioned on several web sites as being at O'Shea's casino. We went
into O'Shea's and I asked at the Cashier's cage about it. The woman
shook her head and acted like she hadn't ever heard of it. I just
called the casino and the woman who answered also said no they didn't
have it, as if she, too, didn't know anything about it. Does anyone
know where it has moved? Every Google search I do comes up with it as
being at O'Shea's, but O'Shea's web site mentions nothing about it.
The last discussion in this newsgroup was in 2001, and someone said it
had moved downtown to the Plaza, but their web site doesn't say
anything about it either.

Anybody know where it went? It would be a shame if it closed.

Well, I wonder why all the tour web sites list it just as if it was
still there. Really annoying, considering how far the walk was for my
handicapped son.

Send me more information about your handicapped son.

Perhaps Frank Zak (or even SHK) can help you out with having him see some
magic.

I always find it funny when people that work in these places have no clue
about things. That place was only there for like a decade or more, you would
think someone there would be aware of it once being there.
Not a big fan of that place. I never have good luck at O'sheas. I happened
to meet someone there this weekend and we both ordered the same drink from
the front bar, from 2 different bartenders at the same time. His came to
6.00 and came in a 12oz sized plastic cup, mine came in a 8oz sized cup and
cost 8.00. That was not sweet, I thought that place was supposed to be
cheap. I would have gone to Mirage and not had to constantly be dodging
meatheads on their way to the beer pong tables if I wanted to pay 8.00 for a
shot of jack in my 7 up

Maybe Monkey could show him around in his fine Toyota?
I'm sure he'll be amazed at Pig Monkey got all the food wrappers in there!

I guess those sites are more interested in web traffic than accuracy.

I noticed pretty high table limits at O'Sheas too. Like you, I thought
it was supposed to be cheap.

Yeah, that's another place Harrah's ruined. They used to have an ice
cream parlor in the back; don't know if they still do. If they do, the
ice cream cones are probably $14.
