According to the Vatican calendar
http://www.vatican.va/news_services/liturgy/calendar/ns_lit_doc_200701...calenda
on Sunday 27th May (Pentecost), the Pope is celebrating Mass at Cittą di
Castello in Umbria for a Beatification (so he isn't in Rome). On the
following Sunday 3rd June, Holy Trinity, he is celebrating outdoor Mass at
St Peter's Square at 10 am for a Canonisation. You'll need a ticket for
this, or just turn up very early (around dawn?) to stand outside the
barriers. You'll see the Pope on his Popemobile before and after Mass, and
the service will be shown on giant screens.
There is no rule that the Pope celebrates a public Mass on last Sunday - all
his public celebrations are announced in the Vatican calendar. But on the
last Sunday of the month, the Vatican Museums have free entry - thus even
more crowded (saving 13?).
