They didn't want to tell you, but you guys just weren't good enough
for Frontier.
I don't know what the difference is between connecting and non-stop
except I guess you guys were only filling one segment per person
instead of two.
It looks like they are moving the planes to some other new markets. I
think they just added eight more cities.

From the report I saw, it looked like the cities they were adding were much
smaller than BR and very much closer to Denver. Thanks to Katrina, we're
now the largest city in the state. I guess bigger doesn't make us 'good.'
I'm also wonder how many people were coming to BR....Frontier to visit the
Big Easy? Most likely, not too many.
I kind of understand the idea that second segments weren't being filled, but
considering the BR-Denver flights were relatively full, seems as if they
would be profiting from that. Plus our local government kicked in over 1/2
million bucks to entice them (by pulling out, they're forfieting the other
1/2 million.)
I'm not sure what the Frontier-BTR airport contract says, but it seems like
a bad PR move to pull out. Frontier's in it for the money, and that is
perfectly fine, but it just seems they are being short sighted by giving our
market less than six months.
While the BTR airport is looking for another LCC (already jilted by
Alliegant), I'll continue to drive the 60 or so miles to MSY and fly SWA.
