I have no desire or intention of ever seeing her but thought about her while
posting here and am curious!

As reported recently by Norm Clarke in the R-J.
Melinda the First Lady of Magic is a first-time mommy. Baby boy Mason Ray
Evensvold, at 6 pounds, 15 ounces, arrived Aug. 24 and "it's the best magic
that's happened in my life," said Melinda, a Siegfried and Roy dancer before
her 18-year run as the world's most beautiful magician. "He looks so much
like my husband (Mark Evensvold) that's he's a mini-Mark." ...

Clarke, by the way, was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of DUI.

We saw melinda at the ventetian, she looks really good from distance but up
close you can see some age. Her magic isn't very good, consists mostly of
her wiggling her ass and boobies and shazaaming with one of the standard out
of the box tricks. Highlight was at the end when you could get a picture
with melinda. I had a good time but all the women thought it was a waste.
Anyway she seems like she is a dedicated LV performer who put in her dues so
I will wish her the best with the new baby.

Whatever "Magic" she ever learned was the result of whatever Lance Burton
taught her.

Personally, other than her tits and ass, I think she stinks.

I suppose it all depends on whom she is married to at the moment.

I must have missed this in the locals papers/news. Have a link?

I bumped into him at McCarran once, pre-9/11, near one of the gates. He
seemed like a nice guy, but much shorter than I imagined him to be.

We get a small weekly newspaper in the West Las Vegas, Summerlin area and I
could swear that I saw an ad in the last few editions touting a cosmetologist
by the name of Melinda with a photo which looks surprisingly like the former
magician. I'm not sure if it is her or just someone with a similar name trying
to cash in on her popularity.
