Are you planning your cruise around a beach resort at single stop, or do
you know where in Mexico you are cruising and looking for a good beach
on the itinerary?<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ -->

Which part of Mexico? Big country. East coast or west coast?

Just came back from 8 days on the Carnival Spirit out of San Diego. Called
at Acapulco, Ixtapa and Manzanillo. Great cruise. The best resort town I
have found on the Mexican west coast is Ixtapa. Clean, modern and not
overly expensive with warm waters and great beaches.

You must have visited Zihuatanejo
while you were there? It's right next to Ixtapa and actually the quainter of
the two. Cobbled streets, a fishing village. Las Gatas is a nice little beach
across the bay.
