George, I know that you will, but I have to say it anyhow.
When you get all the confirmations on the changes, make sure you go over
them with a fine tooth comb for accuracy.
NCL really screwed a group I was doing when they changed the Sun from New
Orleans to Miami after Hurricane Katrina more than two years ago. I called
the day after the home port change was announced. I requested and was
informed that everything would be the same (all cabin numbers specifically
booked due to personal requests) except leaving one day earlier. They later
moved all cabins to lower category and wouldn't admit their mistake or make
any concession on cost due to lowering up to two cabin categories on some of
the cabins. I found out that the cabins were moved when final payment was
due. Two certified, return receipt letters to Colin Veitch were not
responded to in any manner (other than me receiving back the receipts as
received.) I won't book anyone on any NCL ship in the future. They can go
to a different travel agent if they insist on using NCL as I won't be
responsible for unhappy clients.
There are much higher quality cruise lines out there for booking that still
offer exceptional value for the cost and NCL and/or NCLA isn't one of them.
