It would seem logical that NH should try to acquire the 'AN' IATA code
of the now defunct Ansett Australia. All Nippon's current IATA
designation 'NH', doesn't stand for anything meaningful, in either its
Japanese corporate name 'Zen-Nikku', or its English translation 'All
Nippon Airways'.

Perhaps that means ANA should wait until Ansett is completely
liquidated? Alternatively, it could acquire the remaining shell of
Ansett from KordaMentha, perhaps at fire-sale prices?
