Hello:

Will be traveling to Nova Scotia this summer, and would like to rent a car
up there, probably from (near) the ferry terminal in Yarmouth.

I guess I can always use Hertz or Avis, but was wondering if there are any
less expensive outfits there that are worth considering ?

Besides enough of a lower cost to make it meaningful, I would very much
appreciate any recommendations as to who is a "good" smaller outfit to deal
with ?

Perhaps and even more importyant question, please, is: are there any rental
firms to stay-away from ?

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

I have always rented from Budget and will always do so. You'll have to check
their rates and decide whether or not they are reasonable, but they've
always worked for me. The vehicles are definitely dependable.
