Hi all
I am planning a backpacking trip around Nova Scotia from April to October
of 08.
If anyone feels inclined I am looking for anything you might find of
interest to go see.
I don't have a set route but am thinking of starting in Cape Breton and
working my way south. But I may work my way north from Halifax as I'm not
sure of the weather in C.B. in the spring.
Mostly walking from town to town and hiking through various trails.
I will be taking Acadian lines if there is nothing of interest from one
area to another.
This could be events or natural features.
On my list so far is Fort Louisbourg and the Cabot Trail.
I will be bring a digital camera so photography is high on my list of
things to do.
I am from Halifax so anything around the metro area is not on my list of
things to do or see.
I will be mostly camping out in the wilderness and am interested in any
lakes or areas you like to frequent.
I may be spending a night in a hostle or b&b once in a while.
I wouldn't mind going to an All-you-can-eat buffets now and again for the
cost savings but only if they have good food. I hear Pizza Delight is
good and Dragon King not so good. Planning on hiking for about 5 hours
and stopping to see if I can put someone out of business ;->
Take your time suggesting, I have over a year of planning ahead.
Thanks very much
Scott Johnson
