Opinions please: how long to drive from Scarborough to Roc..

Hello! I am having a holiday in Perth later this year and will be
staying in Scarborough. I will need to drive to an event in Rockingham
which starts at 07:30 (weekday) and wondered how long it will take to
drive from Scarborugh to Rockingham?

Google maps suggests an hour and a half. Does this sound right?

You will travel down the coast, at that time of the day most traffic will be
heading toward the city, but there is a lot of industry around Rockingham
and they start work early, so there will be traffic heading that way. If it
was important that I had to be there before 7.30 (say for a safety training
course ) and I didn't know the route then I would give myself an hour, if I
was too early I would scope out the place and then find somewhere nearby,
buy a paper and enjoy a coffee.
