A few notes on SBS for readers not familiar with it, although
possibly of more interest to readers of rec.travel.australia+NZ,
misc.immigration.australia+nz.
A good start for info on the web is:
http://www.abc.net.au/rn/mission.htm
It is one of the largest public broadcasting networks
in Australia, is available on free to air broadcast T.V.
and radio in most areas of australia. Provides a lot of
programs to the short wave service of Radio Australia.
A wide range of interesting programs, documentaries,
etc. Also broadcasts over various A.M. & F.M. frequencies,
providing pretty good coverage all around the country.
Home page on the net is
http://www.abc.net.au/rn/
Page gives links to more info, but if want to
go direct to AM/FM radio stations by state directly
http://www.abc.net.au/rn/freq/
