Punta Cana and Golf

I have booked a trip to Punta Cana 22-29 Dec. I am staying at the Natura
Park Resort & Spa but can find little information on the facility. My main
interest is R&R and GOLF. Can anyone comment on local golf courses, how far
from the resort and what transportation is available, how expensive and are
there any discounts (coupons, etc) available to a tourist?

Even though I don't book through them, I often use Apple Vacations web
site to obtain information about All Inclusive Resorts.

Essentially, you would get a tee time at Bavaro Golf Course (8009)
686-5797 which is 11 miles away. Since you are already booked, you
probably can't make a change. A short look at Apple Vacations turned up
a few AI resorts with golf adjacent or on premises. They probably cost
more. But if you want to do Punta Cana again, it wouldn't hurt to
investigate some of these at Apple and on a so, so day while you are in
the Dominican Republic.
