Short visit to Montreal

on saturday May, 19 I will arrive on Montreal Pierre Elliott (Dorval Airport
?) at 14.00, then I'll go trough the immigration office (I'm coming from
Italy), just to ask a visa to stay in Canada 3 weeks (my long time planned
vacation ).

Hopefully I will leave the airport at 15.00 or 15.30... I would like to go
to downtown and visit it, just a couple of hours (maybe 2 or 3), I have
beeen there once and I've good memories, I remember the old port, the road
that goes down, place Jacques Cartier think.

After my short visit I should take a bus to Ottawa, my friends will be
waiting for me over there.

Some Questions:

1) can I leave the luggages in the airport or anywhere else, if I don't need
to go back to the airport (maybe on the bus station).

2) which one is the fastest and cheapest way to go from the Montreal Airport
to down town then from downtown to Ottawa straight ? (should I passa again
on the airport ? )

Ok, that's it, sorry for the silly questions, I understand only people who
know Montreal could give me some advices, anyway thank'you in advantage!
