Post subject: Southern Tanzania safari

For next summer (between june 15 - aug 15), I'm looking for a trip to
southern tanzania (e.g. Selous NP, Ruaha NP, Udzungwa Mountains, Mikumi NP)
of 2 - 3 weeks.

Camping is no problem.

I will be travelling alone, so the idea is to book an organized tour with
an international group.

I've found a good itinerary from a UK company :

But I don't live in the UK and I don't know this travel company.
A similar trip :

Does anyone have a recommendation?

However, the prices of this company are way out of my budget.

Thus far the trip most liked is from Siyabona (executed by a different tour
operator).
It is a 10 day southern tanzania trip for $1750 :

In the rec.travel newsgroup archive there were positive remarks about this
company.
They were quick to response but don't have dates or prices for summer 2008
yet.

The scary part for me that I will have to transfer a lot of money abroad to
an (for me unknown) company.
