Depart: Wednesday Back: Sunday Sapa is a former French hill station situated in the sweeping valleys near the Chinese border. Its high elevation of 1600 meters creates its cool climate which inspired the French to build villas there as a summer retreat. Today, Sapa still attracts visitors for its stunning scenery, comfortable climate, colorful markets, and a variety of ethnic hill tribes who live in nearby villages. This program has increasingly become popular through the years with improvements in the road conditions and the new 4-star Victoria Sapa Hotel making travel today much easier and more comfortable.
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa Lao Chai Ta Van (B, L, D)
AM: 6h15 arrive Lao Cai , pick up at Lao Cai station then transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast before the trip starts. Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes. Have a picnic lunch on the way then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area, where you stay overnight in a local family.
App. 7 hours trekking 15km Meals: B-L-D- Accommodation: Home stay.
Day 2: ta Van - Giang Ta Chai Sapa (B, L, D)
We start the trip after breakfast, heading up to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao tribe where you will have lunch. Amazing sceneries and beautiful waterfall are to be seen in the afternoon before going up to the main road where you will be picked up by motorbike/jeep. Ride back to Sapa. Check in and have dinner in Victoria hotel. Enjoy the night in the mountain town.

Day 3: Sapa Cat Cat Sin Chai (B-L-D)
Breakfast in hotel, our morning exercise is to make the short climb up Ham Rong Mountain for a panoramic view if Sapa and its environs.
After luch from the hotel there will be a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, and Sinchai village home to the H'mong hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 4: Sapa Bac Ha market(Sunday market) (B-L-D)
Leave Sapa early in the morning at about 6h30 .We take the jeep/bus to Bac Ha market .with the distance of 100 kms It takes about 3 hours to get there ( moutain road) We arrive in Bac Ha at 9h30, the best time to visit this traditional market with its entire colourful ethnic people such as: Flower HMong , Phu la , Black Dao gather to buy and sell. and have party with lots of corn wine ( strongest wine in Vietnam 55 % alcohol)
After visiting the market and have lunch the guide will take you for 2 hour- hike to visit the Flower HMong trobe in Ban Pho Village.
After that get back to the jeep / bus to go back to Lao cai Station for dinner and the night train back to Hanoi.
Day 05: Hanoi
Arrive hanoi at 5 a.p. Pick up and transfer back to hotel. End of tour
