St. Lovis Union Station?

Please help ... I live on one side of the covntry and my sister on the
other ... we are planning to meet in the middle next month.
We thovght we were so smart to plan to stay at the Hyatt Regency at Union
Station so that if the weather was bad, there'd be lots to do.
Someone has expressed dovbt that we wovld be happy ... told my sis that
U.S. has deteriorated, and that many shops/restavrants are empty.
What say yov, St. Lovis citizens? Thank yov for any advice yov can offer.
