I have yet to try it Wynn. If you have, was it worth it?

Dixie,

Many, many years ago at the Showboat the place with whispering
Pete who commented on the tv bowling shows. I was playing
blackjack and a drunk came to the table placed a 25 cent bet
and asked for a beer. The dealer said "go to the bar and buy one".

I don't know of any buffet that charges extra for beverages

At the Sunset they serve the orange juice in a 16 oz glass,
I just asked for orange juice and did not specify any size,
but I did see smaller size juices. For the coffee, they just left
a pot on the table and it was good.

At the Palms, the orange juices are small and they do not
leave a pot of coffee even though I asked. But they
constantly refilled both, more times than I expected.

dr. Baf

Back around 1996, the buffet at Harrahs charged extra for the beverage. Not
sure, if they do so today.

A few months back, we stayed at Sunset Station while waiting for our
carpet to dry after a cleaning. Breakfast was at the coffee shop and
they brought us complimentary OJ in a small glass, plus coffee in a
caraffe so we could refill at our leisure. The food was unremarkable,
but good.

I have to say it was exceptionally good, and we are huge buffet folks.
It's too pricey for me to go back, but really easy to make the required
player points and get it free.

I knew it.... as soon as my fingers left the keyboard, I'd pay the price
for choice of words!
