Super Bowl party report.

Not a 'trip report', just a report on the Super Bowl party I went
to. I've been going to LV for the Super Bowl for 9 years now. We usually
have 3-6 guys from different parts of the country. We had been going to
The Beach every year. It's a great place to watch a game. The drink
prices there had gotten to the point that we decided to try something
different this year. Last year a guy told us to try Ellis Island. We
decided to take him up on it. It was a LONG day. I noticed I had a POV
coupon for all the micro brew we could drink for 2 people, discretion of
the bartender. EI has a Super Bowl party for $10, free beer and food. I
had a 1/2 off coupon. The SB party started @2:00. So, we got there at
noon and had free beer until the party started. Then, starting at 2, we
had more free beer. So, between noon and 7 PM on SB Sunday we drank good
micro brew for 5 Bux. I'll be back next year! First time I had 'alcohol
poisoning' in many moons!
Oh, and on a side note, I'm a 30 year Patriots season ticket holder,
so the game turned out okay too. Only bad part of the day is I had the
good guys to cover. Oh well, it's only 'play money' right?
One last non related thing. The Lon Bronson All-Star Band at the
Nugget is still worth it at 100X the price (free show Sat and Mon)!
