Terror in Indonesia?

Hi everybody!

Does anyone here know anything about the danger of terror or violence in
Indonesia?

We plan to go there in the spring of 2006, especially Sulawesi, Maluku and
the eastern Nusa Tenggera, but have now read about some attacks on western
travellers and several bombings...

Is it really dangerous? And what kind of presciptions is possible/important
to take?
