Do any of you know of a private company that does trips to Uxmal?

The ship arrives in Progresso at 7am and leaves at 4pm. Carnival doesn't
offer the excursion.

Should I find a company online or wait til I get to the pier?

Thanx

Looks like no one knows of any private tours to Uxmal?

Suppose my birthday won't be that great.

I'll check the NG before leaving for the airport about 10:30 Eastern or 7:30
Pacific time.

PLEASE help me have a happy birthday. It's the 2 year anniversary of burying
my mom and that would be a great way to "celebrate"

I'd even be happy with a ruin site that allows structure climbing that I
haven't listed. My first choice is Chichen Itza, but the travel time is long
and apparently you can no longer climb El Castillo. (a now ruined lifelong
dream) -(

Les,
Interesting that you can no longer climb El Castillo. Knew it would
eventually happen. Just want you do know that it hasn't been possible
to climb Uxmal for several years, so if you are going there just to
climb the large pyramid, you might be disappointed. But, even if you
can't climb, the site is outstanding and one of my favorite.

I did 3 cruises, and instead of doing Uxmal for my birthday, I did it the
cruise before that. (My bday was on the 3rd cruise).

Uxmal was the only tour I did, but we were able to climb the pyramid. Not
the first one, but the one farther back. It was great. I was able to get
pictures of me taken on the top of the pyramid with the other one right over
my shoulder.

Was a great tour. About the best thing I did on the entire trip...
